10/22 - Online Tools Workshop in Portland
I've fallen in love with the small business community here in Portland. Business owners and entrepreneurs share the mindset that partnerships and referrals help us all grow. We tend to collaborate and support one another.
One group that exemplifies this is the MOB NW, an alliance dedicated to empowering women balancing motherhood and business. I was fortunate to connect with Nedra Rezinas of Blue Deer Forest through the group - or rather, reconnect, as our daughters used to be in daycare together. Nedra specializes in WordPress, while I've moved my web design focus to Squarespace. We refer clients to one another in the spirit of community, not competition.
I'm excited to that Nedra will be hosting a workshop this Saturday, October 22nd to demystify the online tools you need to build and market your business. She'll cover popular software and apps, help you identify the right ones to use, and provide worksheets to get you started. I'll be out of town for the PRSA International Conference, but I know it will be an amazing opportunity to learn and network. Don't miss out!
